From our
beginnings as the St. Francis Businessmen’s Association, we have
advocated for the welfare of our city through education, economic
growth and political action. Our history dates back to 1951, when
the founders of the Association played a vital role in the
incorporation of the City of St. Francis. We are proud to be part of
a hard working, friendly and generous community. Now we have the
opportunity to promote efforts going forward that can make our city
the best place to live in Southeast Wisconsin. We have the
foundation provided by the recently adopted Comprehensive City Plan
and new Zoning Ordinance to build on. We see our city experiencing
rapid growth in the elements that make a city great; new high
quality development, new residents and new commercial opportunities.
It is my hope that our Association of Commerce will take a leading
role in advancing these efforts and will continue to be a very
important part of the future success of the City of St. Francis.
